So apparently this image didn’t post yesterday when I clicked submit. The last post i saw before clicking submit was the one by mmhj. Then I went to help my mother who is recovering from KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY get into bed with her ice packs and stuff while the computer was uploading. Well what the fucking hell did I see today after i finished drawing? My picture wasn’t received because tumblr decided to fuck me over while I crashed on my own bed after working my ass off to help my mom like any good daughter would all day yesterday as her personal nurse. I also had to do that shit again today and I will probably have to do it again tomorrow. I’m not going to check posts first thing in the morning when my mother is in agony and needs me to help her get ready so she can see the doctor to get more pain medication. You know what also sucks? That the tech difficulty post was posted only a half hour or so after I attempted uploading my picture. I had no idea tumblr was messed up when I clicked submit so I did not feel the need to double check when I was so tired from trying to be a good daughter. mmhj’s post was posted @ six and I’m not sure if the time listed on posts is Eastern or Central but there is a three hour gap that the mods could have used to post the technical difficulty post. I know from acidenema’s post that according to him text posts were working so the three hours with no warning was a tad late. Expect a shame*PERFECT DAUGHTER AWARD* picture tomorrow after I’m done helping my mother and punching tumblr’s shitty servers (or whatever the hell caused the upload problems). I’ll be posting the rest of my daily pics on my own tumblr, and they will not be the sketchbet home game because I played the Family Feud home game once and I can tell you now home games aways suck.

Some practice drawing things I usually don’t draw. Football player seemed like a good idea since lots of news about who won the Super Bowl and what not gave me a chance to refer to people with this build and clothes without looking too hard for reference. Not based on any picture or specific player, I just used super bowl video footage for proportion reference.

More of my hero girl character only in an ACTION POSE. I finally decided on her clothes. The under drawing was dark blue and got mixed a bit because I have such heavy hands when drawing. I helped my mom out a lot today as she got back from the hospital after having knee-replacement surgery and until she fully recovers I’m gonna be her errand girl. I’ll have to draw every chance I get just in case I’m helping my mom non-stop.

Almost finished with my heroine design I have a few colors picked out and I know her upper torso working in a way I like. Still working on lower garments like pants or kilt or something. After drawing for almost 15 minutes I went into some color detail and I’m still not sure what to do for pants and related stuff. I’ll work on that tomorrow and maybe draw her and the prince character together. If I went all out and made a story out of all this I feel like I’d never make the two develop any romance with each other since it would never work out and not all stories have to have mushy romance cliche stuff in it.

This cat is Dusk and I drew his sister Dawn in my second sketch bet post. Dusk is chubby and derpy and is fixated on clothes hangers. I can never bring myself to draw him realistically because he’s so derp and dumb and clumsy he can only be drawn as a cartoon for me. My older brother even had a dream where all the cats we’ve ever had were in it, these two and our previous cat, and each cat was animated in different styles.
