Another 5/9 year comparison drawing! The original drawing of this is the oldest drawing of mine I still possess.
I STILL CAN’T DRAW CATS. Of course, if I’d spent as much time on them as I have on people in the last 9 years, you’d see more of a difference there, too! So getting good at drawing isn’t just time or just practice, it’s a lot of both!

So Today’s idea was Little Red Ridding Hood reversed. Red would be a woman who saves the little axe boy, when the Big Bad Wolf tries to stop him from delivering goods to his grandma. A lot of the story changes because a little axe man would have a small hatchet. Imagine him trying to fight a big ol bad wolf with a little hatchet. It’s a bit rushed, but I kind of got lost as I started on the background.
These are a bunch of sketches for a painting I’m doing a live demo thing on. I might use one of these, but it’ll be way different. I looked at http://nikxstock.deviantart.com/ for references, her face and hair are cute and look like fun to work on.
so due to the chaos that has been the last week (even if it didn’t seem that way i’ve barely had time to get my drawings done :B) i spent a good half hour of not sleeping to draw this dog who kept moving around.
she would be asleep ,then wake up and started licking this page. i’m also happy to say, this will probably be the last week i have to come over and help out my mother (who broke her knee right as sketchbet started) for half the week. which i’m excited about because then i’ll be able to work on a big school project! AND SPEND MORE TIME ON SKETCHBET! AND THIS OTHER DAILY DRAW. HAHAA.
the best part, i don’t have a scanner, my camera died, so this is a shitty cell photo to get to tumblr. haha.
so there’s a ramble, cause, i just wanted too.
IMMEDIATELY LOSES INTEREST AFTER 20 MINUTES OF DRAWING. I was going to do some thing with chicks, done McBess Style, and then it was going places. I dunno? There’s a reference to the skeleton dance?

One day I’ll design a character with that hairstyle and LIKE THEM so I stop drawing the same thing ALL THE TIME.
Someone said “You’re a redmage kind of person.” and then someone else said, “Cat ears, do it.” and then i did both of those things.
