Ratcar Fail
A word to the remaining Sketchbetters - DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO POST!! As sure as pixels are pixels that will be the time your computer decides to lock up, as mine did tonight. I dodged that bullet 94 times, but no more.

Protest Fail
I did sketch out a quick 6-panel SOPA/PIPA protest but it looked pretty awful, besides it’s a bit late to the game. So here’s a Chorus girl instead. Now the song is stuck in my head,”ONE… Singular sensation, every little step she takes…”

Quinn
Started drawing more of the girl with the big cat from two days ago. Part of me says I should develop the idea into a story, the rest of me believes it will just get thrown on the pile of 300 other undeveloped story ideas. Not enough hours in a day…

Poker Face
Just doodling.

Big Cat
(Oops, posted this to the wrong blog… Remember kids, if it’s posted in the wrong place it won’t count)
Greetings, everyone, and welcome to the second Sketchbet, or the first real one if you don’t count the first run. I’m John Peters and I completed the first run of Sketchbet which wasn’t easy but it was a lot of fun. I’m currently drawing three webcomics (Ardra, Gypsy, and The Perils of Pandora) with more to come. Let’s see how long we can hang on his time…

Tiger says “Thanks”
And so do I. Last night I went through the entire Sketchbet line so I could copy out comments like this one for future use - I tanked my computer from all the images these 12-25 participants made since September 17th (I got a “Virtual Memory” error). I hadn’t counted, but I’m sure there are thousands of drawings here.
Having to put something out there on a daily basis has shown me that all days are not equal. Some are busier than others, or more tiring or more stressful. There were many days where I just wasn’t feeling it and considered letting it lapse, but that didn’t happen. It was a challenge, sort of like a slow motion 24 hour comic.
(Makes me wonder what a “24 pages in 24 days” challenge would be like. I don’t know, maybe February I could do a 28 page version. Except 2012 is a leap year, dang…)
Anyway, thanks for having me. And good luck to the next 25 Sketchbetters.

Umbrellas
I forgot to put one over the dog, too.

Walkies
Doodling. Not sure where the image came from.

Boundin’
One possible future or racing. Three more Sketchbets to go.
