A page of doodling I did. Lately my creative juices in my brain have been slow to activate. Hopefully that will be fixed with more regular doses of caffeine tomorrow.
Some basic sketches of armor that the guards and knights of my prince character might wear if I ever draw him with them. Maybe I’ll get around to it in the future.
Some heroine faces concept sketches. Some of them I was all “gah not enough scruff!” and others looked similar to characters that already exist so I didn’t want that. I kinda like some of the noses in the drawings more to the right side of the sketch, as they didn’t have a huge Anime feel to them. I used marker this time because I have a ton lying around in my room that need to be used before they dry out some other less productive way. Gonna do a clothing study too get some ideas for outfits soon. I’m thinking of giving this girl a kilt or something that’s not pants but also not hard to move around in.
more marker/Copic ink pen study. the first picture looked nothing like the reference, so I redid the face in pen. (next time I do a marker study, I’m using better markers. bleh.)
playing around with some new toys :3
I’m liking Mepxy markers (white skin tone). blendability and smoothness of Copic, but cheaper, with less bleed-through.
I’m feeling down today, so I wanted to draw something that would cheer me up. dancing usually does the trick.
Um.. swirly girly?
Really I’m just emptying my head and putting pen to paper and letting it happen. No plans, just letting my mind wander on paper.
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU AND WHO ARE YOU WORKING FOR???”
In retrospect, she later admitted, the fifth venti espresso double shot was probably where things began to go wrong.

Hand study. Blah.
If I hadn’t drawn so much fore arm I could’ve called it Adams Family fan art.
